STRESS

Let’s face it we all deal with stress.  There’s good stress – a new baby, moving, a new job, etc., and bad stress – a death in the family, losing your home, losing your job, etc. At the end of the day it all boils down to the emotional and physical side effects of stress.

Here are some resources that will, hopefully, help alleviate the symptoms.

Visit MedlinePlus for information regarding managing stress, and how to cope better with life’s challenges.

womenshealth.gov has produced a fact sheet “Stress and Your Health.”  You’ll find common causes of stress, health effects, information on PTSD, advice to help you handle stress, and more.

Great information to help you “Manage Stress” from Healthfinder.gov.

Quit smoking?  Don’t let stress affect your success! Visit Smokefree.gov for advice.

Now let’s all take a deep breath, stretch and get on with our day.
